Funding Sources for (Music) Technology

Funding Sources for Education and Technology can be hard to come by for individual teachers. Organizations seem to fair much better when it come to securing funding for initiatives involving educational technology. The increased possibilities to use technology in music education has led to a need to identify funding sources to outfit music labs which typically require a computer, midi keyboard and software (for notation, sequencing, recording/mixing, and music skill building).

The latest issue of Music Education Technology identifies seven potential sources of funding. (These have not been reviewed so please comment back if any seem to be particularly good).
